Martha J. (Clemmer) Allebach, 80, a long-time resident of Harleysville, PA, passed away at home on the family farm late Tuesday night, April 4, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Many people enjoyed visiting her farm to see the pigs that she raised for the last 30 years, since the death of her dearly loved husband, Robert C. Allebach, on January 17, 1992.

Born September 22, 1942, in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Esther (Jones) Clemmer, and was raised in Lederach, PA.

Martha was a member of Towamencin Mennonite Church for the past 60 years. She was an integral part of organizing the Sewing Circle at the church and helped to make many lap quilts for area nursing home residents.

Surviving are four children, Brent Allebach and his wife, Linda, of Harleysville, PA, Anita Beetler and her husband, Gene, of Galesburg, IL, Renae Derstine and her husband, Joel, of Schwenksville, PA, and Karyn Hummel and her husband, Troy, of Coopersburg, PA; her beloved eleven grandchildren and a growing number of great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, H. Leroy Clemmer and his wife, Charlene, of Longs, SC; and a sister-in-law, Marie Clemmer Keener of Elizabethtown, PA. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Clemmer.

Family will receive friends from 12-1:45 pm on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Towamencin Mennonite Church, 1980 Sumneytown Pike, Harleysville, PA, where the public funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Burial will be private for the family in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Towamencin Mennonite Church, P. O.
