Mark David Taylor ("Marky Bear"), 38, of Hatfield, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025.
Born in Fridley, Minnesota, he was the beloved son of Barbara Sue Taylor and the late Robert Stephen Taylor.
Mark was a graduate of Temple University, where he studied video editing and animation, which allowed him to express his creativity. Mark was known for his calming presence, his gentle smile, and his love of a good cheesy joke or pun. He shared a special bond with his family, often quoting movie lines with his brothers, playfully teasing his nieces and nephews, or gathering for a meal together—a favorite way to spend his time. He was a lifelong fan of WWE wrestling and Star Trek: The Next Generation, and he loved playing video games with friends and family.
Mark was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, Harleysville, where he sang in the choir for several years.
In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his siblings: Robert Allen Taylor and his wife, Wendy, of Harleysville, Michael Stephen Taylor and his wife, Michelle, of Allentown, Susan Ann Taylor of Harleysville, and William Joseph Taylor of Hatfield. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Luke, Nate, Chase, Skylar, Reagan, Zane, and Connor.
We will forever cherish memories of his gentle spirit and the sweet smile that brightened our days.
