Mark Andrew Nash, age 60, of Telford, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Jan (Snedegar) Nash, with whom he shared over 28 years of marriage.
Born July 5, 1961, in New Haven, CT he was a son of the late Robert A. and Nancy L. (Clark) Nash.
Mark had previously been employed by AEL Industries, which later became BAE Systems. Mark was an Antenna Engineering Manager, designing radar and communications jamming systems that were used to protect military aircraft in many global theaters including the Gulf War. Mark was a passionate and gifted guitar player, both acoustic and electric, loved music, and was a huge Grateful Dead fan. He was on the varsity swim team at Norristown High School where he held records in backstroke and relay. His lifelong quest for learning drove him to learn something new every single day, and his vacations in the Outer Banks brought him much peace and joy. He loved to gather his family and friends together for music and camaraderie, and cherished the times spent together.
In addition to his wife Jan, he is survived by his siblings Robin McPeak and her husband Jack and Scott Nash and his wife Sheri; nieces and nephews Nash, Naishalie, Jack, Brendan McPeak, Courtney and Justin Nash, Todd Snedegar and his wife Laura, Kara (Snedegar) Vonderkall and her husband Chris, Ryan Snedegar and his wife Leah, Sean Snedegar and his wife Brittany, Erin (Snedegar) Newmeyer and her husband Joe; brother-in-law Marshall K. Snedegar and his wife Sandy; sister-in-law Jo Karen Snedegar, numerous cousins and his Labrador Retriever which he adored, Penny. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Maxwell B. Snedegar.
A visitation for Mark will take place from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 9 at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, and again from 11:00 – 11:45 AM on Friday, December 10, with services following at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
