Obituary

Margery Dayock, 79, of Harleysville, PA, died on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Peter Becker Community, where she was a resident.  She was the wife of the late Robert Dayock.

Born in St. Augustine, FL, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Dorothy Seiler.

Margery was a graduate of Central Bucks High School, class of 1963.  She worked as reservationist and was a corporate secretary to the director of United Airlines.

During her working years Margery loved to travel. She enjoyed reading and crochet/needlework. Marge loved to be with her family, and she was close to all her relatives. Definitely a people person, Marge made friends easily and loved to chat.

Her last 12 years, she lived at Peter Becker Community where she made many friends and loved to gather and chat. Her faith was always important to her, and she attended services at the Peter Becker Community Chapel regularly.

Margery is survived by her sister, Dottie Bryant Schmidt, (William), of Ormond Beach, FL, brother Ronald Seiler of North Wales, PA, sister Claudia Schoellhammer (Albert), of Quakertown, PA and stepdaughters, Grace Martin (Donald) of Edgewater NJ, Barbara Schwarmann (Roy) of Rockaway NJ and Kathleen Kenny of Farmville, VA.  She is also survived by and loved all her 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren

Although Margery had no children, she adored her nephews and their families.  She is survived by her beloved nephews, Sean Bryant (Dawn) of Telford PA and his children Danielle Bryant, Michael Jansons (Hannah), and Lybirtee Williams (Stephen) and their families and Kyle Bryant of Pawtucket, RI and his children Cayden Bryant and Chayce Bryant.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Dan Bryant and a sister-in-law Elaine Seiler.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 23, at Peter Becker Community Chapel, 800 Maple Ave., Harleysville PA 19438, where a luncheon will immediately follow.  Interment will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Peter Becker Benevolent Fund, at the above address or Children's Hospital of Philadelphia .
