Margaret A. "Peggy" Richards, age 84, of Perkasie, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Richards, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage.

Born May 24, 1940, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William Edwin and Margaret Miriam (Chambers) Marshall.

Peggy looked forward to her weekly card playing and mahjong. She loved going to her Bible studies and then going for lunch with the ladies. She loved going out to eat with family every Sunday. Her love for nature, watching birds and feeding squirrels was enjoyable to her. She enjoyed collecting cow figures, and everyone gifted her cows. She enjoyed going to the movies. She loved to swing, which was an every evening event. Peggy was known for her smile.

Margaret is survived by her children, Glyn Richards, Tracey Shearer and her husband Tim, David Richards and his wife Lisa, and Jeffrey Richards and his wife Denise; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Mildred Jackson, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons Alan and Paul Richards.

A memorial service for Margaret will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc, 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.
