Obituary

Madeline E. (Watson) Zinger, 87, a resident of Salford, PA, for over 50 years, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 5, 2024, following a lengthy illness. She and her husband, William Zinger, would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on September 24th of this year.

Born February 7, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA, she was a graduate of Muriel Dobbins High School in Philadelphia, PA.

Madeline was a wonderful wife and mother. She was a long-time member of Old Goshenhoppen Church of Woxall, PA. When her sons were young, she enjoyed assisting with their activities. She was a Cub Scout den mother and was a big part of the mothers clubs for all ages of baseball, basketball and football. Madeline was a devoted volunteer at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, PA., where she was honored for over 2000 hours of service. She was also a dedicated fan of the Game Show Network.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, William Zinger and his wife, Joanne, of Center Valley, PA, Brian Zinger and his wife, Lynn, and granddaughters, Alexandra and Ingrid, of Westford, VT, and Eric Zinger and his partner, Kelly Salone, of Harleysville, PA.

Family will receive friends from 10-10:45 am on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church, 2092 Church Road, Harleysville, PA, where the public funeral service will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Arrangements are by the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. of Franconia, PA.
