Lois Ella Flemming age 93, of Souderton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Allan John Flemming, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage.

Born September 18, 1930, in Germantown, she was a daughter of the late Frank T. and Edna Elizabeth (Goldbeck) Gower. She was predeceased by her sister Joan Tramontina and brother Edward Gower. Lois was an excellent seamstress and would make her own clothes as well as clothes for her family. She was also an excellent cook and hosted many memorable family dinners. Lois enjoyed playing mahjong and reading and was a member of Harrington Village Book Club. She also enjoyed traveling with husband Al and her family and friends. She was the family historian and loved sharing stories of the family ancestors.

She is survived by her children Joanne Patterson and her husband Richard of Drexel Hill, PA, Karl A. Flemming of Harleysville, PA, grandchildren Teresa Flemming of Glenolden, PA; Richard G. Patterson III of Astoria, NY; nephews Edward Guy Gower and his wife Robyn of Harleysville, PA and David Gower and his wife Grace of Newnan, GA.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.
