Lois Irene Faut, age 79, of Harleysville, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Gary Ray Faut with whom she shared over 56 years of marriage.

Born July 5, 1944, in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Charles Glenn and LauraMae (Geisinger) Dieffenbach. Lois graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1962 after which she attended cosmetology school. Lois was a beautician and owned her own beauty salon in Schwenksville, in her early years. She later had a salon in her home while she raised her children. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Kulpsville since 1968, where she taught Sunday School for 31 years. She loved planting her vegetable garden every year and reading a good book. Her family was her pride and joy. She treasured being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family and family gatherings were what she loved most, and she cherished the times they spent together.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Alice Keeley and Susan Wildman. In addition to her husband Gary, she is survived by her daughters, Michele Keyser and her husband, Jim, of Harleysville, Diane Rush and her husband, Cliff, of Souderton, and Lisa Gaffney and her husband, Russ, of Palmerton; nine grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Kathryn, Alexandra, Alicia, Austin, Danielle, Carly and Caleb; four great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Bradley, Karson and Jackson; brother-in-law, Howard Keeley; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Lois will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2211 Mainland Road, Harleysville, PA 19438, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
