Lamar Yerk, 90, of The Community at Rockhill, quietly passed away on February 23, 2026, surrounded by his family's love. He was the loving husband of 70 years to Mary (Linder) Yerk.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons who loved him dearly, Roy Yerk (Pam) of Telford, PA, Rick Yerk (Kim) of Quakertown, PA, and Brad Yerk (Lainie) of Harleysville, PA; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Yerk; and a grandson, Gregory Yerk.

Mr. Yerk had been employed with the U.S. Gauge, Kuhn Buick, and Bergey's, and was a volunteer for Perseverance Volunteer Fire Co. of Souderton, PA. He liked to complain about the Phillies even though he enjoyed watching them play. Lamar always had a smile on his face and his family was his joy. He loved spending time with his family, especially with summer picnics and holiday dinners.

Funeral services will be private for the family.
