Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kerry Eugene Gingrich on October 29, 2024, at the age of 67. Born December 26, 1956, Kerry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, known for his vibrant spirit, boundless energy, and dedication to serving others.

Kerry graduated from Lebanon High School in 1974 and went on to earn his degree from Juniata College in 1980. He was the beloved son of Dr. Kerry H. Gingrich and Ida Gingrich, and he carried forward their values of hard work, kindness, and resilience.

Kerry proudly served in the Marines, embodying the values of honor, courage, and commitment that would guide him throughout his life. A hardworking, self-made man, he went on to become a successful entrepreneur, owning Standard Terry Mills, Total Equestrian, and Elite Sportswear. Yet he was most proud of the farm he built with his beloved wife, Nancy.

Known for his magnetic personality, Kerry built friendships wherever he went, creating lasting bonds through kindness, laughter, and an unmatched sense of humor.

Kerry loved exploring the world and tackling projects at home—whether it was fly fishing, horseback riding, or heading out on hunting trips. He adored his dogs, especially Barton, who was his constant companion. You could often find him on his backhoe, making improvements around the house. He threw himself into life, hands-on and wholeheartedly, day after day.

Kerry is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Clemmer), his children Andrew Gingrich (Katelyn) and Amanda Franek (David), and Elizabeth Gingrich Patterson (Mark), as well as his seven beloved grandchildren, Jocelyn and Mason Franek, George, Bradley, and Lucy Gingrich, Robert and Margaret Patterson, siblings Sharman and Kevin Gingrich.  His family will forever remember his strength, compassion, and zest for life, and his legacy of hard work, family devotion, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the joy of knowing him.

A celebration of Kerry's life will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969, with family visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM and a service at 2:00 PM. Kerry will remain forever in our hearts as a beloved husband, father, and friend, a true adventurer, and a man whose impact on others was as deep as his love for life.
