Kathleen B. Kober, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Douglas Kober with whom she shared over 41 years of marriage.
Born December 23, 1957, in Staten Island, NY, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Irene (Fennell) Bieling.
Kathy was first and foremost a loving wife and mother. She grew up in Lansdale and graduated from North Penn High School, where she was active in a number of groups. She attended Montgomery County Community College and finished her education at Bloomsburg University, with a degree in Psychology. She worked for a time in mortgage banking, and was a dedicated volunteer for many years for the Harleysville Fire Company. She was a talented organizer of fund raisers and entertainment events for the fire house and gave tirelessly of her time and talents.
She was an animal lover and nurtured a number of pets through the years. She was an accomplished gardener and would gladly share the fruits of her labors. She loved the beach, and avidly followed NASCAR.
In addition to her husband Doug, she is survived by her sons Michael Kober and his husband John, and Gregory Kober; sister Dr. Susan Paolucci and her husband Stephen; mother-in-law Mary Lou Kober; aunt Phyllis Knott and her husband Raymond; sister-in-law Patricia Moyer and her husband Brinton; nieces Dr. Kathryn Pallegedara and her husband Ruwan, and Katie Moyer Larter and her husband David; nephews Benjamin Paolucci and his wife Courtney, and Tom Moyer and his wife Amy Richardson Moyer, and extended family.
Visitation for Kathleen will take place from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford. Services will be private.
