Judith Marie Stangl, age 67, of Telford, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Gary M. Riehle, with whom she shared over 36 years of marriage.

Born July 28, 1956, in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Margaret (Spevak) Stangl.

Judy, as she was known by many, should be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and friend. She was a scientist by trade specializing in hydrogeology. Judy had a deep care for protecting the environment, activism, and respect for all people. She will be cherished by her friends, and family, whom she enjoyed spending time with sipping her morning coffee while reading the paper, watching the Phillies win a big game, or sitting on the beach with an icy cold beer in hand.

In addition to her husband, Gary, she is survived by her sons Gabriel and Mathias and his wife, Abbie; brother, John and his wife, Bonnie; sister, Joan; nephews, Zachary and Douglas; niece, Kimberly; and sister-in-law, Andrea Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James and niece, Emily.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 450 East Washington Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18017, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will take place in Holy Savior Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Judith's name may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
