Josephine (Amatruda) Manieri, 100, passed away on September 26, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Lawrence M. Manieri.

Born September 14, 1926, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Gaetano and Louisa (Borrelli) Amatruda.

Jo was employed by the National Foundation March of Dimes, then for Strawbridge & Clothier from 1986 until it became Macy’s, and retired in 2016 at the age of 90. Jo was a member and past president of The Women’s Club of Norristown and the Red Hats of Norristown.

She is survived by sons Larry (Elise) and Stephen (Charlene), granddaughter Alexis Nicole (Alex), and great-grandsons Everett Cole and Rowan Grey Pineda. She is also survived by her sisters: the late Lucy Marino and Dina E. Mina; nephews Gaetano (Dan), and Lee (Jerry Lynn) Marino; niece, the late Louisa Mina Beatty; great-nieces, Danielle, Lisa, and Dina; and great-nephews: Marc and Matthew.
