Giuseppe Mario Marcello "Joseph" Piacentini, age 87, of Souderton, PA, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Eddy) with whom he shared over 49 years of marriage.

Born August 18, 1936, in Oderzo, Italy, he was a son of the late Clino and Filomena Piacentini.

Joseph was very creative throughout his life, whether it was furniture building, oil painting, sketching or preparing food. He enjoyed being outside and tending to his garden and outdoor projects,or relaxing in the sunshine. As a father, friend and neighbor he was quick to lend a helping hand.

His true passion was his family, here in the U.S. and Italy, and he cherished the times they spent together. He cared for his loved ones steadfastly and with quiet action.

In addition to his wife Lorraine, he is survived by his children Mena Piacentini McCabe and her husband Jason, Anna Piacentini Lacher and her husband Todd; grandchildren Finn, Liam and Fiona McCabe and Eli, Caroline, and Leo Lacher; siblings Anna Piacentini Grossi and Clino Piacentini. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family here in the US and in Italy. He was preceded in death by two brothers Salvatore and Francesco Piacentini.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 24, 2023, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joseph's name may be made to either St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church at the address above or to Grand View Health Foundation, P.O. Box 902, Sellersville, PA 18960.
