Joseph Michael Kulsicavage, 79, a resident of Franconia, PA for 30 years, passed away Sunday morning, January 15, 2023, at home.
Born October 21, 1943, in Sayre, PA, he was a son of the late Albert and Theresa (Sinovich) Kulsicavage. He was raised in Dushore, PA, and was a graduate of Dushore High School.
Mr. Kulsicavage was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Retiring from the Navy as a lieutenant after 20 years, he received many awards and commendations for his service. He then began an 18-year career in information technology with Teva, often traveling to Israel for the company.
His hobbies included bicycling, rollerblading, and riding his Harley. He loved his grandchildren dearly.
Surviving is a daughter, Denise A. Matranga of Souderton, PA; a son, David B. Kulsicavage and his wife, Heather, of Quakertown, PA; and three grandchildren, Dominic R. Matranga and his wife Katie, Isabella Rose Matranga, and Cheyenne S. Kulsicavage. He is also survived by two brothers, Ronald Kulsicavage and his wife, Dee, of Dushore, PA, and Daniel Kulsicavage and his wife, AnnaMarie, of Spring Hill, FL; and his former wife, Suzanne L. Paquin of Souderton, PA.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Joseph Kulsicavage; and a brother, Donald Kulsicavage.
Graveside services with military honors will take place for the immediate family at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. of Franconia, PA. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.WilliamsBergeyKoffel.com .
