John "Jack" F. Olcott Sr., age 84, of Sellersville, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Emily (Dziomba) Olcott, with whom he shared over 63 years of marriage.

Born August 26, 1938, in Newburgh, NY, he was a son of the late Leslie B. and Helen (Neelan) Olcott.

Jack was an avid drag racer all his life. He raced at New York National Speedway in the 60s and on the nostalgia circuits in the 2000s with his son and grandson. Jack also was the founder of the East Coast Gassers racing organization.

In addition to his wife Emily, Jack is survived by his children, Suzanne Olcott, Patricia Dziomba, John F. Olcott Jr. and his wife Helene, and Christopher Olcott; grandchildren, Danielle, Erin, Kelly, John III, and Grace. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Virginia Franz and Gerald Olcott.

A visitation for Jack will take place from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday March 3, 2023, at St, Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Interment will take place in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
