John Sherman Nealy, age 76, of Lansdale, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Mensch) Nealy, with whom he shared over 36 years of marriage.

Born May 2, 1947, in Piqua, Ohio, he was a son of the late Robert Irvin Nealy and Juantia Mae (Potter) Burke.

John enjoyed woodworking, golfing, playing softball, baseball-watching the Phillies play and watching the Eagles. He also liked genealogy and ancestry. His true passion was his family, and he cherished the times they spent together.

In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by his daughters Nichol A. Murdah and her husband Stephen and Heather N. Freed and her husband Ryan; grandchildren Jeffrey Agosto, Jr., Stephen Murdah, Jr., Miles P. Murdah, Owen M. Freed and Layla M. Freed; brothers-in-law Donald Yerger, William Mensch, Walter Mensch; sisters-in-law Judith Biresch, Kathryn Mensch, Ruth Culbreath. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles Wayne Nealy; sisters-in-law Violet Hersch and Janet Hallman; brother-in-law Robert Mensch.

Funeral Services for John will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.
