John H. D'Angelo, Jr., 77, of Telford, PA passed away peacefully at his residence on April 26, 2024.  He was born on November 4, 1946, in Philadelphia to the late Giovanni "John" Sr. & Margaret M. (O'Neill) D'Angelo.

John was raised in Jenkintown, PA, and graduated from LaSalle University with a degree in business administration.  John was a proud employee of State Farm Insurance for over 45 years and has represented the company as Harleysville's State Farm agent since 1981. During his tenure, John mentored and supported many new and rising State Farm agents and employees and never missed an opportunity to do so.  John was a pillar of the community and was a member of the Harleysville Lions Club and formerly a member the Harleysville Rotary Club.  John was also a member of Indian Valley Country Club of Telford and the Wachesaw Plantation Country Club of S.C.  John knew the importance of our community's youth and supported countless community sports teams and youth events over the years.

John was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage and many happy memories of world travels, golfing, vacationing at their South Carolina home, and many occasions spent with friends and family.  John is survived by two sons, Jack D'Angelo of Point Pleasant, NJ and by Jim D'Angelo and his wife Gina, of West Chester, PA; his grandchildren Georgia, Madeline, Michael, John, Callie and Sophia; sisters Margaret "Peg" Faust of Malvern, PA and Phyllis A. Noonan of Pottstown, PA; many nieces and nephews and extended family.  John was beloved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 – 10:45 AM on Friday, May 17, 2024, at St. Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, PA 19440, with a Memorial Mass to celebrate his life following at 11 AM.
