John E. Burns, Jr., age 71, of Souderton, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Moyer) Burns, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage.

Born September 22, 1951, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John E., Sr. and Rose (Ricco) Burns.

John's past times included golfing, boating and camping, but mostly he enjoyed sharing his life with his family and friends.  He was a "Philly guy" at heart and loved his Eagles and Fightin' Phils.  He especially loved his work as a Real Estate Broker which he worked at since 1988.  Many remember him fondly as a Charles Chip man prior to real estate.

In addition to his wife Jean, he is survived by his children, James Burns and his wife Kimberly, Mariya Burns, Katie Burns, Kristie DePiero and her husband David, and Sara Flamer and her husband Jared; grandchildren, Kelci, Lonnie, Jazmen, Kylie, Nick, Gabe, Ben, Jimmy, Chance, Phenix, Brayden, Ava, and Amora; and siblings, Patty Viscomi and her husband Frank, Rosemarie Burns, Jackie Heichel and her husband Doug, and Carol Law and her husband William. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation for John will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford. Services and interment will be private.
