Jodie Lee Bate, 48 of Cary, NC, passed away on May 1, 2024.

Jodie was born on May 28, 1975, in Lansdale, PA to her parents, Randall and Charlene Wampole.

She loved being with her family, outdoor activities, reading, traveling, and her pets! Graduating from Duke University with a master's in nursing was one of her proudest accomplishments. Cheering on her Philadelphia Eagles was her favorite fall past time!

She was preceded in death by her father, Randall Wampole.

Jodie is lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas Bate; children, Tyler, Carson, and Andrew; twin sister, Jamie Trumbauer; mother, Charlene Souders; and brother, Justin Wampole.

Services in North Carolina will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Apex Funeral Home, Apex, NC.  Visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM, with light refreshments immediately following.  Flowers for the North Carlonia service and can be sent to Apex Funeral Home, 550 W Williams St, Apex, NC 27502.

Services in Pennsylvania will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation from 9:30AM-11:00AM. A funeral service will take place at 11:00AM, with burial immediately following at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.  Flowers for the Pennsylvania service can be sent to Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969.
