Jo-Ann M. Kranz, 76, of Harleysville, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.  She was the wife of Peter Kranz, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elisabeth Sailer.  Jo-Ann was a graduate of St. Hubert Catholic School, class of 1964.  She had worked at Geiger Horticulture in Harleysville.

Jo-Ann was librarian for St. Agnes-Sacred Heart school. She enjoyed doing family genealogy, was a member of her local tax group and was an advocate for children with disabilities in school.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, daughters, Susanne Hertzog and husband Jeff, Lisa Stenger and husband Howard, Natalie Moriarty and husband Brian, and son, Peter Kranz and wife Ashley.  She is also survived by a sister Geraldine Long, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Monday, April 10, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 16 South Spring Garden Street, Ambler, PA 19002, where a viewing will be held from 10:30-11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jo-Ann's name to Alzheimer's Association .
