Jean L. Moyer, 94, of Souderton, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Mervin M Moyer, who died April 16, 2006.

Born in Kulpsville she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ada Dager and sister to the late Donald C. Dager.  Jean attended J. Henry Specht School and was a graduate of Lansdale High School.

She was employed by Harleysville Insurance Company for a short time and then took a position at the Hatfield National Bank. After many mergers, it is now known as PNC.  She became a banking officer in 1956 and retired after 35 years as Branch Manager of the North Wales office.

Jean was a 50 plus year member of both Priscilla Chapter No. 64, Order of Eastern Star and a Royal Patron of Lansdale Court No. 65 Order of Amaranth.  She was a founding member of "The Pennettes", the ladies auxiliary supporting the North Pennsmen Barbershop Chorus where she served for over 25 years.  Jean was also a member of the Women's Club of Indian Valley

Jean was a member of Zion Mennonite Church, Souderton and a past member of Christ Lutheran Church, Kulpsville.

She is survived by a son David Moyer of Souderton, grandson Aaron Moyer and his fiancée Melissa Hess of Pittsburgh, granddaughter Ashley Rothermel and her husband Andrew, and two great-grandsons Joseph and Jett, of Port St. Lucie, FL.

A memorial service for Jean will be held 12 PM on Friday, November 18, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will receive friends from 11-11:45 AM.
