Janet Worthington, 87, of Watertown, NY, formerly of Perkasie, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024.
She was the wife of the late William Worthington.
Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Wessner. Janet had worked in sales, for Sears, Wawa and Lesher's Five and Dime.
She was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church, where she volunteered for Coffee Monday's. She was also a member of the VFW. Janet enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her children: Rick Reedel (Patsy), David Reedel (Ann), Alfred Ryer (Diane), Mike Ryer (Tina), Donna Subin (Mike), and Elsie Sipple (Kathleen), grandchildren: Amy, Robbie, Robin, David Jr., Jessica (Dennis), Margaret, Kevin, Samantha, Andrew, William, and Amber; 17 great-grandchildren, and a brother, James Wessner.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Casey Sidorick; and a brother, Robert Wessner.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 16, at Tabor United Methodist Church, 2209 Hendricks Station Road, Woxall, PA 18979. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
