Janet D. (Fosbenner) Davidson-Oltman, age 92, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Davidson and the late Max B. Oltman.

Born September 11, 1932, in Richlandtown, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Edith H. (Youngken) Fosbenner.

Janet's early childhood was spent in the Richlandtown/Quakertown areas where she grew up with her sisters Jean Clemens and Gloria Greaser.

She attended Souderton High School and Edward W. Bok Technical School.

In her teens, her mother remarried Arthur T. Lee, whom Janet adored.

After school she worked at His Nibs clothing manufacturer, trained waitresses for the Big Pixie and retired from John Wannamaker stores where she had been a long-time employee.

She was a shrewd businesswoman, taking the reins of the family business upon the unexpected death of her husband Robert Davidson.

In later years she married Max B. Oltman. They enjoyed traveling and trips to the casinos. Max's daughter Rhona was welcomed into Janet's heart and remained a beloved daughter.

Janet's greatest joy in life was raising her daughter Kristeen, and she dearly loved son-in-law Joseph.

She was a lifetime member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Souderton, Pa. and a longtime member of Generations of Indian Valley. She had many dear friends whom she cared for deeply.

Her family would like to thank the Skilled Nursing and Personal Care staff members at Lutheran Community at Telford for their compassionate and skilled care.

A Remembrance Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Lutheran Community at Telford Chapel, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM, followed by a private interment in Hillside Cemetery, Souderton.
