James A. Schmidt, age 69, of Trumbauersville, passed away on August 11, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Debbie (Law) Schmidt, with whom he shared over 26 years of marriage.

Born September 5, 1952, in Lansdale, he was a son of the late John and Betty (Lane) Schmidt.

Jim was a plumber by trade and worked as a mechanical contractor for BKG Inc., for 28 years. He was best known for his sense of humor and ability to make everyone smile and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His favorite place was the beach at LBI. Jim was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him.

In addition to his wife Debbie, James is survived by his children, Kristie DePiero and her husband, Dave, and Sara Flamer and her husband, Jared; grandchildren, Nick, Ben, Lonnie and Brayden; and siblings, John Schmidt, Julie Bowlin, Jack Schmidt, and Jennifer Bombardier. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Schmidt.

A memorial service for James will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.
