Homer "Jake" Underkoffler Leidy, Jr., 79, of Telford, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Jake was born in Abington, PA to the late Homer, Sr. and Arlene (Stilwagon) Leidy in May 1944. Jake spent most of his life in Hatfield, PA where he was a volunteer for the Hatfield Fire Company for over 30 years.

Jake enjoyed walking to the diner in Hatfield for breakfast where lots of people knew him. He enjoyed listening to music, watching Channel 69 news, old movies and T.V. shows and spending time with family and his friends at Peaceful Living's Lilley House, where he resided the past 7 years.

He is survived by a brother Robert Leidy and his wife Marlene, a niece Nicole March and her husband Kevin, a great-niece Kylie March, cousins and friends.

Jake's life was not always easy but he made the best of it. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 14, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, 18969, where a viewing will be held from 10-10:45 AM.  Interment will be at Leidy's Church Cemetery.
