Helena Tiedeken, 81, of Franconia Twp., passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Born in Girardville, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Vera Felix.  Helena received her bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her master's degree from Duquesne University.

She had worked as a radiologic technologist at Nazareth Hospital, St. Mary's Medical Center and Laporte Medical Center.  Helena also worked as a counselor for Christian Ministries and worked in real estate in Hidden Valley, PA and Somerset, PA.

Helena was a member of Hopewell Christian Fellowship Church, Telford.  She was active at Generations of Indian Valley, Souderton, where she loved engaging with other members, enjoyed the prepared meals, the many activities and off-site excursions.  Helena also enjoyed flower gardening.

She is survived by a daughter Teresa Marie Tiedeken of Telford, a son Shawn Joseph Tiedeken (Vicki) of Panama City, FL, a grandson Jeffrey Peter Tiedeken (Madeline) of Columbus, OH, a granddaughter Rachel Ardele Tiedeken of Panama City, FL and her faithful companion "Tazzie".

A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 16 at Hopewell Christian Fellowship Church, 601 Hunsicker Rd., Telford, PA 18969, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 - 10 AM.
