Helen Marie Roberts, age 94, a lifelong resident of Lower Salford, died Tuesday evening, Nov. 29, 2022 at Elm Terrace Gardens, Lansdale, where she resided since 2015.  She was married to Samuel Roberts, who died February 16, 1995.  The couple married on July 4, 1948 and had celebrated 46 years of marriage.

Mrs. Roberts lived on Maple Avenue Harleysville her entire life until moving to Elm Terrace Gardens. She was born to the late John K. Kerr and Amanda (Seitz) Kerr and graduated from Souderton High School, Class of 1947. She worked at the former Harleysville Insurance Co. for 13 years, then Merck & Co. for a total of 28 years, retiring from Merck & Co. in 2004, at age 76.

Marie was a lifetime member of Christ Lutheran Church, Kulpsville, now called Harleysville, where she was a member of the Ruth Circle and was the church's first secretary.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughter Lynne Marie and two grandchildren: Jason Mark Andrichyn and Amanda "Mandee" Kate (Andrichyn) Hernandez.  She began a Pinochle Card Club for eight ladies who played monthly for 50+ years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral service which will be held Monday, December 5, at Christ Lutheran Church, 2211 Mainland Road, Harleysville, PA 19438 where viewing will take place from 10-11:00AM, immediately followed by the funeral service. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in Marie's name to the church at the above address.  Burial will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
