Gloria M. Heckler, age 94, of Souderton, passed away on Saturday February 1, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Gerald K. Heckler, with whom she shared over 73 years of marriage.

Born November 23, 1930, in Souderton, she was a daughter of the late Robert P. and Marie (Humma) Clemmer.

Gloria was a Souderton High School class of 1948 graduate. After graduation she graduated from Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. She was employed by Grand View Hospital and various physicians' offices. Gloria was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Souderton, where she taught primary Sunday school and served on the church counsel and various other church committees. She volunteered at the Harleysville Community Center and the Harleysville Ambulance. She enjoyed doing calligraphy, swimming, watercolor painting, walking and traveling.

In addition to her husband Gerald, she is survived by her sons Gavin B. Heckler and his wife, Kathy, of Ambler, G. Drew Heckler and his wife, Vickie, of Souderton, and Shawn B. Heckler and his wife, Cathy, of Pottstown; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Rodemer.

A memorial service will take place at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Souderton Mennonite Homes Chapel, 207 W. Summit Street, Souderton, where the family will greet guests from 11:00 – 11:45 AM.

Interment will be private.
