Glenn Cunningham, age 75, of Lansdale, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Louise (Salter) Cunningham, with whom he shared over 36 years of marriage.
Born August 13, 1946, in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Lyle Ott and Dorothy Mae (Tragea) Cunningham.
Glenn loved to go to car shows to display his 1984 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z. He was the best third base coach for Giuseppe's softball team and he spent any weekend possible going to see Go Ham with his family and friends. Though he loved cooking anything he could, he enjoyed weekly visits to local diners with his kids. If he wasn't watching Westerns on TV all day, he was out fishing any local creek he could find. He was also a member of the Fairmount Volunteer Fire Company as well as the Hatfield Volunteer Fire Company, for over 20 years. He loved his family and cherished the times they spent together.
He is survived by his children, Anna Marie Cunningham of Sellersville, David John Cunningham and Jacqueline Peiffer of Chalfont, and Mary Elizabeth Cunningham of Perkasie; brother, Barry Cunningham and his wife, Renee, of Pittsfield; his favorite child, Charlie the dog; and his granddog, Duke.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lyle Ott "Bud" Cunningham, Jr. and David John "Jack" Cunningham; sister, Cora Elaine "Corky" Sharp, and son, Glenn Szakal.
