Glenn Allen Clemmer, 67, of Harleysville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. He was the husband of Donna (Reinford) Clemmer.  After a 34 year battle with kidney failure, we celebrate that he is free of all illness and home with his Lord and Savior.

Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Nelson and Esther Clemmer.

He was a graduate of Springford High School, class of 1972 and a 1978 graduate of Rosedale Bible Institute.

Glenn was a self-employed home builder and remodeler for 43 years.  He ran and operated Glenn Clemmer and Sons Home Builders.

Glenn was a man devoted to Christ and served Him faithfully in several leadership capacities within the church body.  He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially with his children and grandchildren.  He was a very joyful and hospitable man and his home was always open to others.  His favorite pastimes were playing guitar, hymn sings, collecting antiques, working on his Farmall tractors, hunting, fishing, gardening, and enjoying God's creation.  His greatest love was for the Lord and he loved life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Matthew Clemmer and wife Bethany of Souderton, Nathan Clemmer and wife Bess of Perkiomenville, Shawna Halteman and husband Nathanial of Green Lane, and Krista Kemmerer and husband Christopher of Harleysville, and 14 grandchildren.  He is survived by brothers Paul, Marvin, and Ken, and sisters Alverda Delgado, Eunice Charles, Rhoda Kidwell, and Cheryl Freed.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lois Vazquez.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, at Hopewell Christian Fellowship, 601 Hunsicker Rd, Telford, 18969, where the family will receive friends from 4:00-5:30 p.m.  Interment will be private.
