Geraldine "Gerry" Ruth, 95, of Souderton, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl "Chubby" Ruth, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.

Born to the late William and Naomi Gahman, Gerry worked as a seamstress at the Royal Pants Factory in Perkasie and, alongside her husband, sold Depression glass for more than 20 years. She enjoyed traveling by RV with Chubby, creating many fond memories together. Gerry also worked at Rice's Greenhouse in Perkasie, where she prepared flowers for the spring season.

Gerry was an avid quilter who hand-stitched hundreds of patterns throughout the years. Most of her quilts were lovingly made alongside her sister, Bette. Her most cherished quilts were created for her granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Gerry is survived by her daughter-in-law, Colleen Ruth; her granddaughter, Jenn, and grandson-in-law, Dylan Lincoln; her two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Carter; and her sister, Bette Christman, and her husband, Merril. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Gerry was preceded in death by her son, Terry "Bump" Ruth, and her siblings: Anna Mary Detweiler, Emerson Gahman, Edward Gahman, Willard Gahman, Clifford Gahman, Clyde Gahman, and Ronald Gahman.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Lutheran Community at Telford for the care, kindness, and love shown to "Grams."

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, December 29, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 PM prior to the service.
