Gerald John Schneidinger, age 85, of Harleysville, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Marie (Cenviva) Schneidinger, with whom he shared over 60 years of marriage.

Born December 29, 1938, in Ambler, he was a son of the late Frederick and Izora (Keating) Schneidinger.

Gerald was a United States Marine Corps veteran. Gerald enjoyed yachting, fishing, gardening and animals. His passion was his family, and he cherished the times they spent together.

In addition to his wife Dorothy, he is survived by his children, Gina Rosenberger and Shane Schneidinger; grandchildren, Bailey and Dalton Rosenberger and Jonathan Schneidinger; and siblings, Joe and Philip Schneidinger and Joan Perkins. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Whiskey. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anne Diena.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 4:00 – 5:45 PM at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, with services following at 6:00 PM. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery the following day at 9:30 am.
