Gary Ray Faut, age 80, of Harleysville, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Lois Irene Faut, with whom he shared over 56 years of marriage.

Born February 26, 1944, he was a son of the late Harold Raymond and Edna Kathryn (Moll) Faut.

After high school, Gary worked at Ray Flex in Red Hill. After moving to Harleysville in 1968, he became the Accounts Payable position at TrailMobile in North Wales. In 1981, he was hired at McNeil Pharmaceutical, where he worked until his retirement in 2006 as a payroll supervisor.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Kulpsville, since 1968. He joined the choir in 1968 where he sang tenor up until 2018. He received many achievement awards during his years working for McNeil (part of Johnson & Johnson).  He loved planting his garden each year with his wife Lois, but his flowerbeds were his pride and joy. His family was everything to him and family gatherings and time together is what he cherished most.

He is survived by his daughters Michele L. Keyser and her husband, Jim, of Harleysville, Diane Rush and her husband, Cliff, of Souderton, and Lisa Gaffney and her husband, Russ, of Northville, NY; nine grandchildren Laura, Matthew, Kathryn, Alexandra, Alicia, Austin, Danielle, Carly and Caleb; and five great-grandchildren Annabelle, Bradley, Karson, Jackson and Finn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A funeral service for Gary will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Christ Lutheran Church 2211 Mainland Road, Harleysville, PA, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
