Francis J. McGuckin, Sr., 83 of Harleysville, died on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. He was the husband of the late Kathleen (Walsh) McGuckin.

Born in Philadelphia, Frank was a son of the late Francis and Anna (Duff) McGuckin. He was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School, class of 1956.  Frank served in the United States Army from 1962 – 1964.

He worked as an electrician with Local Union 98 for 50 years and worked as a maintenance supervisor with Amplifier Research for 18 years.

He is survived by a son, Francis J. McGuckin, Jr. (Dorothy) of Hatboro; a daughter, Kathleen M. Kochen of Gilbertsville; a sister, Nancy DeVece (William) of Cinnaminson, NJ; five grandchildren, Frankie, Kelly, Deanna, Ryan and Kati; and a son-in-law Dean Leach.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly A. Leach.

The visitation has been canceled at the family's request, due to the current Covid situation.
