Fern Ziegler Yothers, age 72, of Souderton, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Robert Musselman Yothers, with whom she shared over 49 years of marriage.

Born July 10, 1951, in Sellersville, she was a daughter of the late Kathryn Ziegler Bergey and Henry B. Bergey.

Fern was employed by Bergey's Automotive as a bookkeeper. She taught Sunday School and Bible School at Franconia Mennonite Church for 15 years. Fern enjoyed snowmobiling, spending time in the mountains feeding the birds, sewing, gardening, watching the Phillies games and cooking for her family. Her passion was her family, and she cherished the times they spent together.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her children, Robert H. Yothers of Telford, Betsy K. Moyer and her husband, Jeremy, of Souderton, and Benjamin B. Yothers and his wife, Linsey, of Souderton; grandchildren, Jenna and Adam Moyer and Braeden Yothers; and brother, Glenn Bergey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Z. Bergey.

A celebration of life for Fern will take place at 4:00 PM on Sunday August 13, 2023, at Franconia Mennonite Church, 631 Harleysville Pike, Telford 18969. The family is asking those that are planning to attend her celebration of life to please wear their favorite color of blue, as blue was Fern's favorite color.
