Erika M. Weibel, 86, of Green Lane, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was the wife of the late Louis Weibel.
Born in Manhattan, she was the daughter of the late Hawthorne and Martha Winner. Erika was a graduate of Kensington High School, Philadelphia, class of 1956.
She was an artist whose home was filled with beautiful unique artwork and trinkets. Everyone was always welcomed with warmth and love. The air was always filled with something good cooking on the stove. Visits to her home often consisted of snacks, good conversation, and a cup of tea. Her sweet, kind, loving and quick-witted personality was one of a kind.
Erika also enjoyed reading, gardening, astrology, tarot cards, I-Ching, having tea with friends, spending time with her family and loved to help raise her amazing grandkids.
She is survived by her sons, Rye Weibel and his wife, Tana ,of Green Lane, Aleko Weibel of Green Lane, and Eli Weibel and his wife, Ginny, of Benton; and a daughter, India Goldberg and her husband, Jeff, of Perkiomenville. She was a loving MumMum to nine grandchildren, Kiara, Ridge, Monique, Tessa, Aleko, II, Sequoia, Lizzy, Erik and Josie; five great-grandchildren, River Rose, Liliana, Luca, Christopher, and Sage, and a brother, Gilbert Winner.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Savanna, a daughter-in-law Beth, beloved sister BurBur and a niece Holly.
Her family will carry her love and her memory with them forever and continue to see her in everything beautiful.
A celebration of Erika's life will be held privately for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Perkiomen Valley Art Center or Expressive Path .
