Emily "Jean" (Whittenberger) Tufano, age 84, of Lansdale, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. She was the beloved wife of James Richard Tufano, with whom she shared over 62 years of marriage.

Born July 6, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Robert Tyndale and Maxine (McGurk) Whittenberger.

Jean enjoyed playing tennis and bridge, and her work as a realtor. She also enjoyed gardening and traveling. Her passion was her family and she cherished the times they spent together.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Carol Lynne Tufano of Chincoteague, VA, James Tufano and his wife Amy of Shoreline, WA, and John Tufano and his wife Megan of Seattle WA; grandchildren Zachary and Julia Tufano of Shoreline WA and Samuel Tufano of Seattle WA; siblings Dale Whittenberger and his wife Gail of upper Bucks County and Carol Loo of Portland OR. Jean is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Celebration of life services for Jean will be scheduled at a later date.
