Eliza Beatrice "Precious" (Mason) Turner, 65, of Harleysville, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was the wife of the late Floyd C. Turner.

Born in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa, she was a daughter of the late Charles Mason and Edith Lewis. She was the devoted mother of Floyd C. Turner, of Doylestown, PA and Clarice R. Turner, of Harleysville, PA.

She is survived by her siblings, Edith Lewis, Ericson Harris, Wyatt Mason, Emily Mason, Sarah Mason and Charlesetta Mason. She was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, and she held her cousins close to her heart.

Eliza attended the B.W. Harris Episcopal High School in Monrovia, Liberia and went on to study at the Booker T. Washington Institute Inc. (BWI) in Kakata, Liberia. Soon after, she came to the United States to begin her nursing career caring for patients in nursing home facilities and private settings.

She was an active member of the Second Baptist Church of Doylestown. Eliza enjoyed reading, conversing with family and friends, and spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for her family. She could effortlessly make friends of strangers and often would.

Most of all, her children meant more to her than anything else in the world and she was unendingly proud of them. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A viewing will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, at the Second Baptist Church of Doylestown, 6055 Swamp Road, Fountainville, PA 18923, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. In observance of their African heritage and traditions, the family kindly requests that women attending the service to wear white.

For the comfort and safety of all attending the services masks will be required.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Eliza's name to the Second Baptist Church of Doylestown, 6055 Swamp Road, Fountainville, PA 18923.
