Elisabeth Joy Rineer, 31, of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 22, 2026, following a courageous battle with chronic illness. Surrounded by her loving family, Elisabeth's faith was made sight!
Born on June 11, 1995, in Abington, Pennsylvania, Elisabeth was the beloved youngest daughter of Richard "Rick" and Margaret (Murray) Rineer. At an early age, Elisabeth placed her faith in Jesus Christ who anchored her through every season and gave her unwavering hope. Even in suffering, her life reflected grace, strength, and deep-seated trust in God no matter the circumstances. Her testimony is a powerful reflection of steadfast faith in His sovereign love.
Elisabeth had a remarkable way with words. Through her writing, she encouraged and strengthened countless people, pointing them to Christ. The far-reaching impact of her deep thoughts expressed in writing continues. She had a wonderful and unique ability to make others feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for. Whether through a thoughtfully chosen gift, a handwritten card, or a timely phone conversation, Elisabeth exuded Christ's love. As a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lansdale, she joyfully served as a youth leader and later in women's ministry.
Deeply gifted in her profession as a licensed massage therapist, Elisabeth found great joy caring for others with compassion and dedication, seeking not only to bring physical comfort but to also encourage and uplift those she served.
Elisabeth loved music, singing, and performing in various drama productions, using those gifts faithfully throughout her life. She cherished her six years singing with Sola Gratia Musicians, a joyful and excellent choral experience, and was excited to recently accept a position on the board of SGM. She loved performing theater with Lexington Christian Academy for three years. As the head of the Drama Department at Calvary Baptist School, she loved her students and found great joy encouraging creativity and confidence.
Her passion for nourishing food and the culinary arts inspired countless hours of creativity in the kitchen. She loved developing new recipes and sharing delicious meals with family and friends. As a gifted hostess and event planner, Elisabeth skillfully crafted beautiful gatherings filled with culinary delights, meaningful conversation, and joyful celebration, creating lasting traditions and cherished memories. She also used her love of photography to capture many meaningful moments for her family, friends, and students.
Elisabeth had a lifelong love of travel and adventure, exploring six of the seven continents. Having lived in Kenya as a young girl, then serving on mission teams in China and Peru, she developed a deep appreciation for people and cultures around the world. Still, no destination compared to time spent with her family on a lake in Canada, her favorite place of all.
Elisabeth was preceded in death by her beloved daddy and is now rejoicing with him in Heaven. She is deeply loved and missed by her loving mother Margaret Rineer and sister Rebekah Rineer of Hatfield PA; sister Rachel, brother-in-love Tim and niece Karis Sidebothom of Lancaster PA; brother Jonathan, sister-in-love Amy, niece AnnaMae and nephew Nathan Rineer, of Telford PA; and brother David, sister-in-love Kim, and nephews Connor, Ethan, and Logan Rineer of Perkasie PA.
