Edna M. Bergman, 94, of Sellersville, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at The Community at Rockhill, where she had been a resident. She was the beloved wife of the late Eric G. Bergman.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Edna was the daughter of the late Bernard and Berta Zeidenitz. She graduated from Union High School in Union, NJ, class of 1949. Edna and Eric raised their family in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, where they resided for 47 years, before moving to Red Hill, PA to be closer to family.
Edna enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and cross-stitching, and was known for her attention to detail in all of her projects. She also loved traveling, sightseeing, and music. Above all, she was a devoted mother and caregiver who selflessly cared for her husband, mother-in-law, and her parents in their later years.
She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Bergman of Sarasota, FL, and Karen Kratz (Alan) of Telford, PA; her sister, Arlene Strauss (Roger) of Quarryville, PA; three grandchildren: Sarah Fry (Kevin) of Telford, PA, Jennifer Gilmartin (David) of Collegeville, PA, and Daniel Kratz (Lauren) of Norristown, PA; and five great-grandchildren: Gracelyn, Jonathan, Lucas, Adeline, and Lachlan.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 24, at The Community at Rockhill, 3250 State Road, Sellersville, PA, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Graveside services will take place at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, June 25, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edna's memory to the Community at Rockhill's Benevolent Care Fund and sent to the above address.
