Douglass (Doug)  J. Hedrick, 56, of Salford Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 16, 2023.  He was the husband of Tina (Brinkmann) Hedrick.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of Jane Hedrick and the late Donald Hedrick.

Doug was a graduate of Christopher Dock Mennonite High School, class of 1984.

He had worked as a heavy equipment operator/road crew for Salford Township for 31 years.

Doug was a member of Souderton-Harleysville Gun Club and Morwood Sportsmen Club.  He savored spending time at his happy place, The Hideaway at Seashore Campground. He enjoyed having picnics with family and friends poolside at home, where he also enjoyed tending to his flower gardens and flowerpots.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, April Alarcon and her husband, Donnie Ortega, of Nottingham; a son, Jake Hedrick of Tylersport; three grandsons, Xavier Alarcon, Nick Ortega and Jon Ortega all of Nottingham; and a grand-dog, Copper.

A memorial service will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, June 28 at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford 18969, where the family will receive friends from 10-11:45 AM.
