Born May 21, 1927, in Morwood, Pa. Dorothy went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. 

Dorothy L. (Hagey) Haberle was the firstborn child of the late Linford J. and Katie Irene (Bergey) Landis. She was born in Morwood but lived most of her life in Franconia. Her recent residence was at Souderton Mennonite Homes in Souderton.

 In 1953, she and her first husband, the late Gerald Souder Hagey became owners of Hagey’s Bus Service, Inc., and Hagey Tours Inc. Gerald passed away in 1976. Dorothy married Jeryl Wayne Haberle in 1983. She continued to operate both tour bus companies until 1995 when she sold the companies to her brother-in-law Donald S. Hagey and his wife Linda. Dorothy’s second husband, Jeryl Wayne Haberle, passed away in June 2022.

 Dorothy enjoyed playing the piano and organ at Sunday church services at Grace Bible Church in Souderton. She also played the organ at weddings and enjoyed snow skiing and golf. She and both her husbands loved the Lord and knew him as their personal savior, and they passed that love of the Lord on to their children, and grandchildren.

 Dorothy is survived by five children: Beverly Hagey Huber, wife of the late Gene Huber, Gerald Blaine Hagey, husband of Wanda Hagey, David Brian Hagey husband of Mary Ann C. Hagey, Barbara Hagey Stitzinger, wife of Michael Stitzinger, and Blake Hagey husband of Laura Kratz Hagey, 18 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

 Beside her first and second husbands, Dorothy was preceded in death by three brothers, Linford, Richard, and James Landis, a sister, Dolly Landis Campbell, and a great granddaughter, Adrianna Moran-Gaudiello.
