Doris R. (Troxel) Albright, 98, of Harleysville, PA, formerly of Schwenksville, PA, passed away at Peter Becker Community early Sunday morning, November 26, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Albright, on October 8, 2018. They had been married for 72 years at the time of his passing.

Born August 2, 1925, in Kulpsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman G. and Mary Emma (Rader) Troxel. She was a graduate of Lansdale High School Class of '43.

Doris was a long-time member of Heidelberg United Church of Christ in Schwenksville, PA. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, and various community organizations over the years. Her hobbies and interests included The Heidelberg Crafters who created multiple pieces of jewelry, etc. from stained glass salvaged after the 1970 church fire, raising thousands of dollars for the church; knitting and crocheting; traveling with Bob and camping all over the United States and Canada, and playing word games with Bob every night after dinner. Doris was a loving mother, wife, and friend who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all children.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Loughery of Telford, PA, and Kathy Knox and her husband, Donald, of Poway, CA; four grandchildren, Robert, Richard, Brian, and Daniel; six great grandchildren, and numerous members of her extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 am on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Heidelberg United Church of Christ, 251 Perkiomen Avenue, Schwenksville, PA 19473, where family will receive friends during her viewing from 10-10:45 am. Burial will follow at Schwenksville Cemetery.
