On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, Donald K. Souder passed away at the age of 83.

Born to Merrill and Katie Souder on February 26, 1939, in Telford PA, Donald graduated from Mansfield University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and was a proud member of the Phi Mu Alpa fraternity. He went on to achieve his Master's degree attending Penn State and Temple University.

Donald was an elementary instrumental Music Teacher in the North Penn School District for 40 years.

Don was married to Marie A. Trapani on August 26, 1961. They were married for 61 years.

Don and Marie have four children: Karen Engle, (Neil Engle), Doug Souder (Bessie), Kevin Souder (Beth), and Keith Souder (Jennifer).  Don leaves behind 11 grandchildren (James, Zachary, Alyssa, Kasey, Abigail, Benjamin, Leilani, Kody, Caleb, Gianna, and Beckett) and 2 great grandchildren (Gavin and Xavier).

He is also survived by his sister Audrey J. Riegel and her son Daryl.

Don was President of the Lansdale Community Concerts Association for 40 years and was a Mason for 60 years.

He was a little league baseball coach for 14 years, Choir Director at Indian Creek UCC Church for 15 years, and was part of the Souderton Planning Commission.

In his free time, Don enjoyed golfing with his family and friends, spending time with his grandchildren, and listening to the ocean waves while vacationing on the beach.

Funeral and viewing services will be held on Saturday, November 12th at Trinity Christian UCC, 2009 Church RD, Skippack PA 19474, with the viewing from 11 AM-12:15 PM and Service to follow at 12:30 PM.
