Don was born May 12, 1954, in Maryland, he was a son of Frances Jones of Sun City, AZ, and the late Donald S. Jones. After leaving Maryland as a young child, his family moved to Telford, PA, where he was raised, graduating from Pennridge High School in 1972.

Don was employed for B&G Manufacturing of Hatfield, PA, for 39 years as a manufacturing engineer, recently retiring in 2023. He was the ultimate car guy who enjoyed working on, fixing up, and racing the cars he built. He enjoyed barbecuing and sharing his new food creations with his family. Don enjoyed working with his hands, and spending time with his family, especially his eight grandchildren that he loved dearly.  During his life, he was an avid dog lover. Don enjoyed walking them around Souderton, PA or sitting with them on his lap.

Along with his wife Janet and his mother Frances, he is survived by two daughters, Roxanne McCracken and her husband, Christian, and their children, Alexa and Andrew, of Hatfield, PA, and Gwen Knaub and her husband, Michael, and their children, Lucas and Rachel, of Odenton, MD; a son, Will Jones and his wife, Shonnah, and their children, Samantha and Tucker, of Red Hill, PA; and a stepson, Robert Suber and his partner, Pam Monreal, and their children, Amelia and Eleanor, of Chalfont, PA. He is also survived by two siblings, Martin and Kelly Jones. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Reynoso and Tammy Palmore.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:15 pm on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA, where the public memorial service will begin at 2:30 pm.
