Dolores A. Landis, 92, of Harleysville, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, July 26, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of Arden L. Landis, with whom she would have celebrated 75 years of marriage on August 11th.

Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marianne Leidy.

Dolores was a devoted member of Calvary Church of Souderton, where she faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed bowling and playing golf where she was a member of the Indian Valley Country Club. She loved watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in their many activities.

In her later years Dolores enjoyed volunteering at the Care and Share Thrift Store, where she greeted customers and loved talking with them. She also was part of the Calvary prayer team.  She had a passion for others and would write letters of encouragement to those in need. She enjoyed spending time with her large family who loved spending time with her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three daughters, Donna Johnson (Robert), Lisa Giordano (George Baxter), and Terri Wenger (Scott); nine grandchildren, Chris Johnson (Michelle), Kevin Johnson (Danielle), Bobby Johnson, Josh Alderfer (Renate), Jesse Alderfer (Sara), Edison Bergey (Jessica), Michael Bergey (Alyssa), Kyle Wenger (Mikenna), and Casey Wenger; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Landis, and her grandson, Bryant Bergey.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Calvary Church, 820 Route 113, Souderton, PA 18964, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.  For those unable to attend the service it can be viewed via livestream by clicking HERE.
