Denise Ann Hess, 75, of Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Frederick M. Hess, Jr., with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Fabrizio and Ann DiCicco.

Denise was a graduate of Germantown Nursing School. She worked at the University of Pennsylvania and Marquette Electronics.

She enjoyed gardening and reading and was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Armenian Church.

In addition to her husband, Fred, she is survived by her sister, Anita Timmins; four nieces, Christi Timmins-Kelly, Anna Kelly, Payton Kelly, and Lily Kelly; a nephew, Nicklaus Timmins Kelly; and many cousins.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 6, at Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 101 Ashmead Road, Cheltenham, PA 19012, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Salford Mennonite Church Cemetery, Harleysville.  A funeral luncheon will be held after the graveside service at Bay Pony Inn, 508 Old Skippack Road
