Deirdre C. LaRue, (Dede) 58 of Schwenksville, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

Born in Detroit, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Patricia J. LaRue.

She attended Eastern Michigan University and Rutgers University.  Deirdre was an accomplished Certified Financial Planner.

She enjoyed traveling with family and friends and visited Mexico, Bonaire, Italy and South Africa, as well as many cities and forests in the US, always bringing home exquisite souvenirs to share.

She was an avid golf spectator.  Dede and her father shared countless hours watching and talking about golf together.  She attended and volunteered at several PGA tournaments. She enjoyed her volunteer work with Habitat For Humanity.  Deirdre also loved to read, especially thriller and suspense novels.

She so enjoyed creating memories with the family, especially since the arrival of her grand-nephew, Woodrow.  May we find comfort in the treasured memories.

She is survived by a sister, Patricia K. LaRue; and a niece, Kelly Wolff (Jonathan) and their son, Woodrow.

Funeral services for Deirdre will be private.
