Dawn Marie (Rorer) Pier, age 80, of Hatfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Pier, with whom she shared over 53 years of marriage.

Born in Doylestown, PA, she was a daughter of the late H. Laverne and Dorothy J. (Roth) Rorer. Dawn was a graduate of North Penn High School and Pierce Jr. College School of Business. She was employed at Merck, Sharp and Dohme for 35 years and was a member of the union until her retirement in 1999. She was a lifetime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hatfield, Cannoneers Sportsmen's Club, Merck retirees OCAW Club and the Hatfield Museum and History Society and was an avid reader. Dawn's love of racing started at Hatfield Speedway, being carried on her father's shoulders to watch the Midget Races. She enjoyed many years of racing at Hatfield, Grandview, Reading and Williams Grove. Watching her son's race was the highlight of her retirement years.  She was so proud of the success of both Tracy and Steven's racing. She also loved to travel south with her mother to visit family. Her joy was her family, and she cherished the times they spent together.

Dawn is survived by her sons, Tracy L. Kile and Steven J. Pier; godchild, Melissa Marie Creciun-Eder; best friend, Barbara Rogers Kuhns, who was always there for her, and her cousins.

A memorial service for Dawn will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will take place at Immanuel Leidy's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dawn's name may be made to either Grace Lutheran Church, 40 N. Main Street, Hatfield, PA 19440 or to a charity of donor's choice.
